HOWKINS (Roger Francis). - Jean and Claire Howkins would like to thank the many people who have shown so much kindness to us following his death. We were very moved by the number of relatives and friends who attended the funeral service. Our very grateful thanks for any donations received and also to those who sent the beautiful floral tributes and cards. Special thanks to Dr J. Jacobs of Arbury Medical Centre, staff of Bob Jakin Ward, George Eliot Hospital and Macmillan nurses for their kindness, care and attention, Father Trevor Smith for a lovely and special service and his words of comfort. Thanks to all staff at D.B. Devalls Funeral Directors, but special heartfelt thanks to Daniel Devall for his professionalism, compassion and empathy. Nothing was too much trouble. We could not have asked for better support, understanding and guidance at this sad time.
